Privacy Policy

How we handle your information.

What we collect

When you use BlinkJA, we may collect your account email, sign-in details, community reports you submit (category, area, title, description), optional photos or videos, comments you post, confirmations you tap on reports, and basic technical data needed to run the service.

How we use it

We use this information to show the community feed, let you sign in, keep the service secure, prevent abuse, and improve BlinkJA.

Settings stored on your device

Alert Preferences, My Jamaica saved areas, and muted reporters are stored on your device only. They are not sent to our backend. If you clear app or browser data, these settings may be removed.

Location

BlinkJA does not use GPS, background location, or device location permission in this release. Areas, parishes, and communities are selected manually by the user.

What we share

Community reports you submit are shown publicly in the BlinkJA feed. Do not include personal information you don't want others to see. We do not sell your data.

No ads, analytics, or tracking

This release does not use advertising, analytics, tracking, push notifications, payment processing, subscriptions, or Featured Business Posts.

Storage & security

BlinkJA uses Supabase as a backend service provider for authentication, database, and storage. Service providers may process technical request information, such as IP address or user agent, for security, reliability, and abuse prevention. We use standard security practices but no online service can be guaranteed 100% secure.

Your choices

You can request deletion of your account and related data at any time. See Data Deletion Requests or contact Support.
